Art is not what you see, but what
you make others see.
   —
Edgar Degas

Autism is not a disease, but a developmental disorder of brain function.

People with classical autism show three types of symptoms: impaired social interaction, problems with verbal and nonverbal communication, and unusual or severely limited activities and interests.

Symptoms of autism usually appear during the first three years of childhood and continue throughout life. Although there is no cure, appropriate early educational intervention may improve social development and reduce undesirable behaviors. People with autism have a normal life expectancy.

It's time to "draw" attention to Autism -the struggles, the challenges, the wonderment.
Breaking UP Walls has been highly successful the past 2 years sharing their A R T therapy with those living with Autism.

Mentoring Through Art has become the conduit for learning and as a result we have decided to offer this FREE fun filled day of innovation, collaboration, learning, sharing, commingled with a few tears to Arizona.

An alliance of doctors, professionals, speakers, vendors, creative artscapes, abstract alphabet kaleidoscopes, a mural, music, creative reading, dance, theater, horse back riding, dog tricks, clowns, face painting, Phoenix police and fire demo, and just 'ole fashioned fun for "anyone touched by autism"
